My Dear Yoga Friends:

For the past twenty seven years I have dedicated my life to the teaching of Yoga.

In 1996, I opened the Northport Yoga Center. Over the past eleven years, the center has evolved into a rich environment of goodness, with a knowledgeable, compassionate teaching staff. We have had hundreds of students come and go and I believe the majority acquired useful techniques for the management of every day life, based on their Yoga experience.

This letter is to inform you that effective July 1, the Yoga Centerwill be under new ownership. Maria Fealey and Doe Milliken, both graduates of the Yoga Teachers Training Institute and registered teachers with Yoga Alliance, have graciously agreed to take over and keep the doors open.

While I am not retiring from teaching yoga, I am retiring from the day to day responsibility of running a business. I am very grateful that Maria and Doe have come forward and taken on that responsibility so that our students can continue to come for their Yoga practice.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you, our Yoga community, for your support over the years, and to thank you in advance for continuing to support the yoga center. In this complex, bewildering world, the practice of Yoga is essential.

Many have expressed disappointment that I will not have a regular teaching schedule. Please know that if you need some yogic strategy for any reason, you can contact me.
I am looking forward to spending more time in and on my home and garden, and with family and friends, and I will welcome a continued connection with you. Please feel free to call or email me.

Thank you again, it has been my greatest pleasure to share Yoga with you. Let us all continue to reap the many benefits of our practice.
Namaste.
Peace & Love,
Marianne
