Yoga Teacher Training Institute

YTTI is in full compliance with accreditation standards developed by Yoga Alliance for the National Teachers Registry. Students graduating from YTTI are eligible for listing on the registry.

The 200-hour program covers the practice and teaching of:

    • Yoga asanas and their application and impact on the physical body.
    • Anatomy physiology, and kinesiology (the anatomy of movement).
    • Pranayamic yogic breathing and how to harness the vital energy or prana.
    • Meditation and relaxation techniques and their integration into hatha yoga and stress management.
    • Introduction to kriyas, mudras, bandhas, and other purification techniques.
    • Philosophy with emphasis on ancient texts of raja yoga, the eight limbs of yoga, Bhagavad Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Gherand Samhita.
